The body of an 18-year-old man was discovered on June 2 in a camper on Coombs Ln. in Arlee.
According to a press release from Lake County Sheriff Don Bell, the body was recovered and transported to the Montana State Crime Lab where they determined the body was likely that of Richard Warner. He had been living in the camper with two relatives and had not been seen or heard from since late February.
Lake County Sheriff’s detectives travelled to Wallace, Idaho where they located the relatives that lived with Warner in the camper.
After interviewing the relatives, the detectives determined that Warner was beaten to death in mid to late February.
Lake County Attorney’s Office is seeking arrest warrants and the suspects will be identified once the warrants are issued.

More information will come available as the investigation continues.
