Free Dinner at Polson Church
The June Friendship Table Dinner will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. June 10. Polson Presbyterian Church is located across from the Linderman School. Dinner is free and open to all.
Annual Free Hamburger Feed by Polson Rural Firefighters
Polson Rural Firefighters and the Big Arm Association will hold a Free Hamburger Feed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 11. The Feed will be held at the Big Arm Volunteer Firefighters Station just off the west side of Highway 93.
Father’s Day Indian Taco Benefit and Silent Auction
The Mission Valley Senior Center in Ronan will hold a Father’s Day Indian Taco Benefit and Silent Auction from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11. The event proceeds will be donated to MVSC Nutrition Program. For more information call 676-2371.
Ocean-Themed Adult Coloring Program
The North Lake County Public Library in Polson will host an ocean-themed adult coloring program from 2 to 4 p.m. June 15 in the library meeting room. Coloring pages and postcards from Johanna Basford’s 2015 release, LOST OCEAN, will be featured. A virtual aquarium with relaxing background music on the library’s Smart Board will help set the nautical tone. Light refreshments of ice tea, lemonade, and fresh cookies from the Lake City Bakery will be available. Everyone is welcome. Fireworks fundraising
The Marine Corp League Hellroaring Detachment will be holding its annual fireworks fundraising drive Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Highway 93 in Polson. Please drive cautiously and give generously.
July
Transportation Committee Meeting
The Lake County School Transportation Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m., July 7 in the Large Conference Room of the Lake County Courthouse. Adjustments needed in bus routes for the upcoming school year will be discussed.
Picnic
The Philanthropic Educational Organization will host a Reciprocity Brown Bag Picnic Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., July 22 at Boettcher Park at the covered-table picnic area. Attendees are urged to bring guests with their lunches to enjoy the event. Drinks and dessert is provided. For more information contact Janna at 849-5281.

Fireworks
The Polson 4th of July fireworks show has become a tradition for our area, brought to you by the Polson Chamber of Commerce.
This tradition is funded entirely by donations from our local community members.
The chamber is now accepting donations at the downtown office next to the Showboat Theatre, or by mail at 418 Main St, Polson MT 59860.
