SKC summer hours begin
The Salish Kootenai College Student Health Center is operating on a summer schedule.
The schedule includes operating hours one day per week throughout the summer months, with medical staff available for appointments or walk-ins from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and nursing personnel available for appointments or walk-ins from 8 a.m. to 5pm.
The Student Health Center will resume full, regularly scheduled hours and personnel staffing, on Sept. 12.
The Student Health Center will be open for health care, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the following dates:

The Student Health Center is located on the campus of the Salish Kootenai College at Salish Kootenai College Student Health Center, 35928 Joe McDonald Drive, Pablo, MT 59855. Phone 406-675-2700, extension 1630.
In collaboration with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Tribal Health, the Student Health Center provides limited primary medical care, nursing, referrals, and health education resources to the SKC students, their qualified dependents, SKC faculty, and staff.
Some types of resources and health care that are provided at the Student Health Center include:
Diagnosis and management of minor illness and injury
Interval management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes or high blood pressure
Simple diagnostic testing such as urinalysis, pregnancy testing, strep screening, mono-spot, rapid flu, finger stick glucose monitoring, TB testing
Physical exams for educational programs, DOT, fire fighting
Immunizations
Health education
Prevention services
Student Health Center services are provided congruent with the academic calendar, September through June each school year, with full operating hours resuming on Sept. 12.
