Mariners split weekend games

The Mission Valley Mariners had their second weekend of games in Eureka on Saturday. They split on the day, defeating Kootenai Valley and dropping a game to the Glacier Twins. Against Kootenai Valley, Bryant Hake was 3-3 and had a RBI. Jacob Harrod was 3-4 and also hit in a RBI, and Tyson Petticrew was 2-2. Kade Schutzman and Karsen Krebs also had RBIs in the win.

Against Glacier, the Mariners struggled to get hits, while Glacier piled up 14. Walter Wood pitched in that game, and Tyson Petticrew had two of the team’s six hits.
