The Polson U14 soccer team traveled to Kalispell Saturday to play two games. The first game was against the Flathead Force, Polson jumped out to an early 2-0 lead scoring two goals in the first 9 minutes of play, both goals were scored by Ellie Maddy and assisted by Tia Mercer. The Force scored a goal two minutes later and the halftime score had Polson in the lead 2-1. Ellie scored another two goals in the second half, in the 52nd and 55th minutes. Sophia Moderie got the assist on the first one. The game ended with a Polson 4-2 win.

The second game ended with a 5-1 Polson victory over Helena Arsenal. Ellie Maddy again scored 4 goals in this game and Sophia Moderie had a goal and two assists. Megan Rost played both games at keeper and did a great job stopping some hard shots from both opposing teams while Nayeli Windauer and Aisha Clarke were both solid at their defensive positions.

Polson finished up the regular season 8-3-3, scoring 42 goals with only 25 against. There are two more tournaments left to play, 3 Blind Refs in Kalispell in two weeks and then one week after that State Cup in Great Falls.
