ELEANOR BERINGER WITTMIER MILLER

Eleanor Beringer Wittmier Miller, 86, of Polson passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29 at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes. She was born on Feb. 23, 1930, in Brady to Louie and Minnie Beringer. She was educated in Brady Public Schools. She was first married to Vernon Wittmier and then later to Victor Miller. 

She lived in Polson for 58 years and was a member of the New Life Christian Center and the Valley View Women’s Club. She enjoyed painting, gardening, playing cards, reading and spending time with family. A loving wife, amazing mother and grandmother, she also took great and loving care of her friends, church, family and coworkers.

Her survivors include her seven sons and their families; Randy and Tami (Missoula), Tim and Nancy (Missoula), Greg and Aleta (Missoula), Terry and Wanda (Post Falls, Idaho), Larry (Pablo), Jerry and Carol (Seeley Lake), Miles and Marilyn (Fernley NV); her 3 daughters and their families, Debby and Tom (Sandpoint, Idaho), Judy and Mike (Belgrade), Kary and Jeff (Dallas Texas); along with 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held June 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the New Life Christian Center in Polson. Arrangements have been under the care of Garden City Funeral Home. www.gardencityfh.com
