LEGAL NOTICE On Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., the Lake County Planning Board will hold a public hearing in the large conference room of the Lake County Courthouse on the following item: BUILDINGS FOR LEASE OR RENT REGULATIONS The Board will continue its November discussion on proposed Buildings for Lease or Rent Regulations. The Lake County Planning Department has prepared a second draft set of regulations, which are intended to comply with Title 76, Chapter 8 of Montana Code Annotated. The draft regulations address multiple buildings/units for lease or rent on a tract, and would apply to all lands under the jurisdiction of Lake County. The Planning Board will be asked for a recommendation on the draft regulations to be forwarded to the Board of Lake County Commissioners for consideration at a public hearing in December, which will be noticed as required by state law. LEGAL NOTICE The Board of Lake County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Office of the Lake County Commissioners, Room 211 of the Lake County Courthouse on the following item: FINLEY POINT STATE PARK CAMPGROUND Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks has submitted an application for a major subdivision providing spaces for rent or lease for recreational vehicles (RVs). Finley Point State Park is an existing campground with 16 RV sites, two RV sites for the campground hosts, two tent sites, and four boat camping slips. The proposal would reconfigure the layout of the existing RV spaces and would add two new RV spaces for rent or lease. The application includes variance requests to road width and second access requirements in Chapter VII. Other aspects of the proposal not directly related to the creation of RV spaces for rent or lease include the addition of five new tent sites and two new cabin/yurt sites. The +/-16-acre property is located on the west side of Finley Point along South Finley Point Road and is legally described as Tract-A of COS 4405 and Lot 1 of Block 1 of Pollard Villa Site, located in Section 18, T23N, R19W. LEGAL NOTICE Lake County has received the following floodplain development permit application and is accepting comments on the proposal: WEBSTER FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT John R. Webster, as Trustee of the Webster Family Trust, has applied for a floodplain development permit for construction activities within the 100-year floodplain of Flathead Lake on property located at 15179 Hunger Creek Lane. The project involves the installation of a metal frame piling dock with a single timber crib (approx. 10' x 9' x 4.5'), and the placement of +/-11.56 cubic yards of fill with a total displacement of +/-13.92 cubic yards resulting from the project.
