RONAN HIGH SCHOOL HOLDING CLOTHING DRIVE
Ronan High School FCCLA is sponsoring a clothing drive. We are accepting all teen or adult sized clothing, coats, and shoes in good condition. ACT FOR AMERICA JANUARY MEETING
The Lake County Chapter of ACT for America will meet on Monday, Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the KwaTaqNuk to set its agenda for 2017. A brief video from founder, Brigitte Gabriel, will be shown addressing contemporary national security issues. The public is invited and input from all interested citizens is encouraged.
JOB SERVICE EMPLOYER COMMITTEE MEETING
The Lake County Job Service Employer Committee meeting is scheduled for Jan. 10, from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Providence St. Joseph Hospital, O’Malley Conference Room. All are welcome. The topic will be “Windmills – Leveling the Employment Playing Field.”
AMERICAN LEGION MEETING

PACHYDERM CLUB MEETING
The Lake County Pachyderm Club will meet Friday, Jan. 13 at noon in the Rural Polson Fire Department building on Regatta Road in Polson.
District Judge Kim Christopher will be the featured speaker. She will be explaining the need for a separate criminal justice building that would house a jail and courtrooms totally separate from the current courthouse. In addition to showing its age, the format of the current court house requires highly emotional trials to take place in the same facility in which the public comes to get information and transact civil law needs such as vehicle registration and paying taxes.
FT. CONNAH RESTORATION SOCIETY MEETING
Please mark your calendars as the Fort Connah Restoration Society Annual Membership Meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Ninepipes Allentown Restaurant in Charlo on U.S. Highway 93 at 7 p.m. There will be a no-host bar starting at 5:30 p.m. with the option of ordering a meal prior to the meeting. Everyone is invited to attend.
