Polson center offering meals, games

Life isn’t easy but it does include free trips around the sun. Another trip completed. Have a safe and happy new year.

What a talented and fun troupe of young people the PHS Jazz Connection Choral Group was. The group performed for us at our facility on Dec. 21. We thoroughly enjoyed their performance. Thanks to all of you.

Bingo will resume on Jan. 6.

The veteran’s representative will also be here on the 6th from 10 a.m. until noon.

We will have the toenail clinic here on Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. until noon as well.

A celebration of the life of Dean Greiner will be held here on Saturday, Jan, 7 at 1 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be served.

Commodities will be sorted and distributed on Tuesday, Jan. 17 this month.

Tim Basta dominated senior bowling on Dec. 27. Tim swept the men’s high game, series and handicap series. Alice Johnson nearly swept women’s but gave up handicap series to Vivian Ross.

The lunch menu for the coming week:

Thursday, Jan. 5: Cheeseburger, lettuce & tomato

Friday, Jan. 6: Chicken vegetable soup, rolls

Monday, Jan. 9: Sausage gravy and biscuits

Tuesday, Jan. 10: Baked ham, baked potato

Wednesday, Jan. 11: Beef noodle soup, cheesy bread

All meals include vegetables and a dessert. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
