Two injured in Paradise plane crash
A small twin propeller airplane crashed Tuesday at about 9:15 a.m. approximately 200 yards behind the Montana Rail Link railroad in Paradise.
Two Montana Rail Link employees reported two individuals were walking around after the crash complaining of back pain.
Sanders County Sheriff Tom Rummel, a Sanders County Sheriff office deputy, Rescue 1, and two ambulances from Plains were soon on the scene of the airplane crash after a Montana Rail Link train had been moved to clear the crossings so the rescue and emergency vehicles could cross the railroad tracks.
The crash left behind a 150-yard debris trail. Both the pilot and passenger were loaded onto the Plains ambulances and transported to the Clark Fork Valley Hospital.
