Juanita Nobles, 91, of Polson, passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2017. Her husband, Gene, was at her side. She was born on November 21, 1925 in Enid, Oklahoma to Archie and Lona Buxton.

She married Lawrence Gene Nobles on March 16, 1946 and moved to Vallejo, California while he was stationed in Alaska at the end of WWII.

Gene and Nita resided in California for 22 years. One of her greatest gifts was her love for children and she was influential in the lives of many throughout her life. Gene and Nita had four children and moved to Polson in 1968. Together, they operated the Marina Motel, the Polson Ambulance Service, and The Outpost Western Wear.

Nita was a Godly woman who blessed the life of all those she met. She loved her family and welcomed everyone who came in her door.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Jeff, Beth, Dane, and Gena and spouses; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

A memorial/reception will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mission Valley Church of Christ, 40523 Whitetail Drive, Polson, MT 59860.
