Unity key to leader's success

| March 3, 2017 4:07 PM

Xenophobic and narcissistic behaviors have consequences. And when these traits are present in a world leader these consequences can be serious indeed.

Xenophobic means dislike, distrust and prejudice against people of other countries, or who are foreign, or who are different and strange. Narcissistic means excessive self interest or being self-obsessed.

History has proven, many times, that leaders with ongoing aberrant behavior eventually are doomed to failure and even much worse personal ends. Need this behavior be ongoing? Could the leader’s behavior really change? Good questions, I think.

How much pain, how much destructive decision-making, and how much national and international unnecessary chaos and trauma are people willing to endure before a correction is made? There is no way of predicting this.

Personally, I have great faith and trust that the inherent good within each of us is being energized. And it is being collectively energized in ways which will move our nation and our world along on a path toward healing-to-wholeness.
