Polson center hosting Bingo, meals

“Vegetarian” is an old Indian word meaning “bad hunter.” I’m a second-hand vegetarian; cows eat grass, I eat cows.

Through this month and up until the deadline, tax help is available at our center on Mondays and Thursdays. Call 883-4735 for an appointment.

Winning the $100 blackout bingo game on Friday nights will not increase your tax liability, but would add greatly to your enjoyment of the game. Come join in. Snacks will be available.

Alice Johnson scored highest for the women in senior bowling, taking high game and series. Don Young and Fred Funke were high scorers for the men. Handicap series starred Vivian Ross and Fred Funke.

The lunch menu for the coming week:

Thursday, March 9: Meat loaf, whipped potatoes

Friday, March 10: Hot ham & cheese sandwich, macaroni salad

Monday, March 13: Beef tip gravy, noodles

Tuesday, March 14: Cheeseburger, French fries

Wednesday, March 15: Chef salad

All meals include vegetables and a dessert.

Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. until 12:30p.m.
