Students attend first Heads Up Camp in Ronan
Last week, Lake County high school students attended a program at St. Luke Community Healthcare in Ronan.
Through the Heads Up Camp, the 25 students explored various career paths that included social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatry, behavioral health aides and other positions in the field.
Speakers talked with students during the first camp in western Montana on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 19-20 about topics such as behavioral health including stress, abuse, addiction, bullying, suicide and mental health.
Heads Up Camp, which is coordinated by the Western Montana Area Health Education Center at the University of Montana, is designed.
