INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed bids for construction of SURFACE WATER FILTRATION PLANT EXPANSION will be received by the City of Ronan at City Hall, 207 Main Street, Suite A, Ronan, MT before November 3, 2017 at 3pm and then publicly opened and read aloud. The project consists of: 25ft x 40ft building expansion to the existing surface water treatment plant. Construction type is CMU with footing and slab. Work includes all site prep and work for connection to and extension of 6" water piping from existing structure; receipt and installation of membrane filter equipment on skids; piping between skids; electrical wiring for building and equipment; drains and holding tanks for backwash water outside of building; allowance for lightening protection design and installation; installation of generator purchased by city; and all work described in the contract documents. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL- AUTISM SPECIALIST The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) Early Childhood Services The CSKT Early Childhood Services Department is requesting bids for services regarding children who are on the autism spectrum for the period of December 1, 2017 to September 30, 2019. Scope of work: CSKT Early Childhood Services has an enrollment of about 267+ children ranging from 0 to 5 years of age. Children are screened at least 2 times per school year. Head Start/Early Head Start locations are on the Flathead Reservation -1 center in Polson, 1 center in Turtle Lake, 2 centers in Pablo, 3 centers in Ronan, 3 centers in Mission, 1 center in Arlee, 1 center in Hot Springs and the potential of home-based services for children 0-5 not enrolled in the program. The Autism Specialist will be coordinating with the ECS Special Services Coordinator on referrals for children to receive services. An evaluation will be done by a designated team and recommended services will be discussed with the Special Services Coordinator. Once services are started the Autism Specialist will need to keep case notes on the children they provide services to and keep the Special Services Coordinator updated weekly. In some cases consultation may be requested by parents and/or Early Childhood Services staff on an as needed basis. It is required that the Autism Specialist be familiar with various types of autism interventions, including but not limited to social-emotional interventions and challenging behaviors. The Autism Specialist will also train ECS staff on working with children on the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) spectrum. It is the Autism Specialist's responsibility to provide own training (CEUs) and licensing requirements. ECS will pay mileage from the ECS administrative building to various sites at the federal mileage rate. Specific assessment materials will be provided by ECS. Depending on case load, the autism specialist may employ and supervise additional staff who meet the requirements of ECS, an autism specialist aide or other certified staff. Additional funding and information will be provided to ECS prior to hiring additional staff. *The Autism Specialist services will be needed for variable hours.* Early Childhood Services operates from 8am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Children are in the centers Monday-Friday, times varying depending on centers. Proposal requirements: Proposals must include 1.) Professional license or certification in the area of autism intervention services. Documented specialized knowledge. Relevant work experience must be shown in a resume or curriculum vitae, including outline of qualifications and appropriate credentials (copies of professional license, specialized training, etc.) and professional references. 2.) Ability to commit 10-30hrs. per week to the provision of this service. 3.) Proof of liability insurance or proof that the individual is an independent contractor. 4.) Proof of Workman's Comp or exemption certificate. 5.) Description of recent experience in doing this type of work. 6.) Detailed description of cost required to provide this service. Responses should be clear in terms of incidental costs, as well as hourly rates, travel expenses, etc. All proposals are negotiable between Early Childhood Services and the contractor.
