PEANUT BUTTER DRIVE
North Lake County Public Library in Polson is holding a peanut butter drive the week of September 11-16. All contributions from this weeklong event will be donated to the Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry. The library has partnered with the pantry on several earlier occasions. Patrons with overdue items or fines on their cards are encouraged to bring sealed jars of peanut butter (or other commercially prepared, nonperishable food items) to the circulation desk. Fines will be reduced by one dollar for each item donated. Please note that forgiveness of fines does not include lost or damaged items. Patrons without fines are also encouraged to join this event to help replenish the Food Pantry’s supply of peanut butter, a much-needed staple all year long. The library will take the opportunity to add peanut-related cookbooks to its collection. Please call 406-883-8225 for more information.

POLSON READS PROGRAM
Volunteers in this program spend 30 minutes once or twice a week helping students to succeed in reading. We need volunteers for grades K-4th grades. This is a great way to impact the life of a child! We have several community volunteers in the program and are looking for a few more volunteers this year. To find out more info or to sign up come to an informational meeting on Tuesday Sept 19 in the Linderman library at 2:30 p.m.
