The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Terrace Lake Community Church in Ronan starting at 6:30 p.m. on May 1.
Attendees are asked to bring a brown bag filled with sewing-related items that are not in use for an auction.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
A live concert-style event sponsored by New Life Church in Polson, will be held at Polson Middle School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday,May 4. The Christian Youth event, advocating sexual integrity, is $6 online and $8 at the door and an optional ring is available for $20. There will be a parent’s session beginning at 6:30 p.m., which is designed to help parents support their child’s decision.

Clean Up! Green Up! is a Polson community cleanup event that will take place in May. On Friday, May 4, leaves and branches will be picked up curbside for free. No garbage will be accepted. Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help clean areas of the city through Sunday, May 6. Friday, May 11 from 9-1 p.m. Glacier Bank in downtown Polson will accept two boxes per person for free shredding. On Saturday, May 12, the transfer station on North Reservoir Road will accept televisions, computer monitors and other electronics. The Missoula Art Museum (MAM) and Salish Kootenai College (SKC) are collaborating to exhibit works from MAM’s Contemporary American Indian Art Collection at the Three Woodcocks building on the SKC campus. The exhibition is guest-curated by University of Montana art history graduate student Nikolyn Garner. The exhibit will continue through May 31st.
Garner is an SKC alumna and worked closely with SKC Fine Arts department chairperson Cameron Decker. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
