The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will be having their regular Guild meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 6, at the Terrace Lake Community Church, 35663 Terrace Lake Rd., Ronan. Make sure to bring your “show ‘n tell” for all to see. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Polson Pachyderm meeting will be from noon-1 p.m. on Feb. 9 at Polson Rural Fire Department, 25b Regatta Rd., Polson. Lake County Sheriff Don Bell will be speaking about the work being done to implement recommendations made by the National Institute of Corrections assessment, to lower the overcrowding in the Lake County Jail.

The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition will hold a Conversation Among Faiths from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 at the Fellowship Hall of Polson United Methodist Church, 301 16th Ave. East, in Polson. The Lake County Democrats will hold their regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the North Lake County Library, #2 First Ave. East, Polson. Guest speaker will be Grete Gansauer from the Montana Wilderness Association based in Whitefish. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Montana State Parks will host “Love at First Flight” at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Flathead Lake State Park, Wayfarers 8600 MT Highway 35 in Bigfork. Cost is $4 per person or $10 per family. Space is limited and those interested in attending are encouraged to pre-register by calling the ranger station at (406) 837-3041.

The Lake County Trade Show will take place from 9-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Ronan Community Center, 300 3rd Ave. NW. 4-H Aeorospace Product will be serving lunch.For more information call 883-4343. Booth space is limited.

A Valentine Party will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Leon Community Clubhouse, 35964 Leon Rd., Charlo. The event is a fundraiser sponsored by the Ninepipe Arts Group, benefitting various artistic ventures. A silent autction and raffle baskets will be offered. There will be live music, dancing, artisan beer, desserts and other refreshments. Tickets will cost $10 at the door.
