Deadline for talent show extended

The Mission Valley Has Talent competition registration deadline has been extended to Monday, Feb. 12.

Registration forms are available by searching Mission Valley Talent on Facebook or by calling Tillie 249-0837 or Jason 883-2447.

Musicians, comedians, spoken word artists, dancers, gymnasts, anyone between the ages 5 to 95, can register.

Prizes for the competition are first place $500, second place $300, and third place $200. Local sponsors are underwriting the cost of prizes for the winners.

The competition is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, March 9, at the Polson High School Auditorium. Two auditions will be held from which 12 competitors will be selected for the final event.

This event is a fundraiser for the Helping Hands Fund, a non-profit ministry of the Mission Valley Ministerial Association, formerly the Polson Ministerial Association. Since 2004 Helping Hands Fund has provided emergency assistance to county residents, as well as to those traveling through who find themselves in need.
