Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana is sponsoring a “Book Chat” starting at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22, at the Ronan Library, 203 Main St. SW. The book “All But the Waltz” by Mary Clearman Blew will be discussed for the four-week program. The Museum will make used and new books available for purchase if needed. The Miracle of America Museum, 36094 Memory Lane, Polson, will hold a free “Night at the Museum,” which is held on the 4th Thursday evening of each month. On Feb. 22, “Last Man Club” will be viewed. There is also “Art in Heart,” exhibiting a collection of more than 400 vintage valentines for the month of February.
A series of training seminars from the Montana Nonprofit Association will take place beginning Feb. 23 and continue on March 23, April 27 and June 1 at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson. Good Shepherd Lutheran Chuch, 406 Fourth Ave. East, Polson, will host Wednesday Lenten Services at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 21, March 7, 14 and 21.
The Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 2 Headquarters, 3201 Spurgin Rd. in Missoula. The board is advisory to the state and tribes and is responsible for the development of cooperative management plans, which include fishing and bird hunting regulations.
An Adult Formation Lenten series will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursdays at Sacred Heart, 112 Taelman, Arlee. Fr. Hightower will lead the series, which will cover church history and then focus on scripture. Open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
A Safe harbor resource round table will be held at noon on Feb. 21 at the conference room at the Lake County Health Department, 802 Main St., Suite A in Polson. Lunch will be provided.
The Lake County Pachyderm Club will hold a meeting at noon on Feb. 23 at the Rural Polson Fire Department, 25b Regatta Rd., Polson. Guest speaker will be U.S. Rep. Greg Hertz, R-Polson, who also serves as Speaker Pro Tempore. The meeting is open to the public and is expected to adjourn at 1 p.m.
