Local law enforcement teamed up just after Christmas to ensure the safety of children as one agency picks up the pace on raids.

A location and names have not been disclosed.

Flathead Tribal Police, the Polson Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office conducted a residential search warrant on a house on Dec. 27, according to the Polson Police Department.

Authorities discovered marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin, LSD, along with “numerous items of drug paraphernalia” including scales, pipes and plastic bags with residue.

Child Protective Services from the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe as well as the State of Montana removed children from the home.

Individuals inside the home were charged with multiple felonies.
