Cash prizes for top three winners of talent show

Organizers of Mission Valley Has Talent have announced prizes for the March 9 competition.

The first place winner will take home $500, second place will take $300 and third place will receive $200, according to a press release.

Local sponsors are underwriting prizes for the top three winners.

The competition is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, March 9 at Polson High School, 1712 2nd Street West.

Two auditions will be held prior in which 12 competitors will be selected for the final event.

Mission Valley Has Talent is looking for musicians, comedians and spoken-word artists, dancers, gymnasts, between ages of 5 up through 95.

The show is a fundraiser for the Heling Hands Fund, a non-profit ministry of the Mission Valley Ministerial Association, which was formerly the Polson Ministerial Association.

Registration forms can be picked up at valley churches, banks, schools or senior centers.
