William Martin Culbert

William Martin Culbert was born March 7, 1941 in Bigfork and died on Jan. 13, 2018 under Hospice Care at Renaissance Assisted Living in Helena.

William lived in Seattle and Santee, California before returning to Montana due to health reasons and to be closer to family.

He was in the Navy and a Vietnam veteran.

His family will be forever grateful for the excellent care and assistance that the Veterans Administration, the staff at Fort Harrison and Renaissance Assisted Living provided to him while he battled with cancer.

William was preceded in death by his wife Roberta.

He is survived by his sister Georgia and her husband Dick Weaver of Polson and by his brother Jim and his wife Sharon formerly of Basin, Montana.

William and Roberta were members of Hanaford Street Bible Church.

William and Roberta will be interned at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Fort Harrison at a later date.
