Hummel joins local newspaper ad staff

Claire Hummel is a recent graduate of Mission Valley Christian Academy in Polson.

She is our newest media specialist and sales representative. Her duties include selling advertisements, designing ads and promotional pages, to name a few things.

Prior to joining The Leader, Claire worked various positions at local eateries as well as babysitting and housework gigs.

While looking for employment as graduation was nearing, Claire was approached by one of her teachers, who then referred her to an open position with The Leader.

She hopes as she hones her sales skills to incorporate writing into her work.

When she’s not at work, Claire enjoys hiking, watching movies, reading, camping and spending time with her family. Her favorite place to visit is Glacier National Park.

In the fall, Claire will be enrolled at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz,, studying online and majoring in accounting with a possible minor in finance or marketing.
