Todd Cooper

Todd Matthew Cooper, 49, passed away on June 29, 2018, at UCH in Denver, Colo., from complications from a congenital heart defect.

He was born to Morley and Neal Ann Cooper in Hillsboro, Ore., on June 16, 1969. He graduated from Polson High School. He attended college at Montana State University, receiving his degree in chemical engineering. Todd later settled in Billings, Mont., where he met and married his wife, Angela Nitzel, and together they had three children.

He was a beloved husband, father and son, and will be missed dearly by all of his family, friends and all the people’s lives he touched over the years through the Church of Christ.

Todd loved spending time with his family and friends, and was very devoted to his church and Christianity.

He loved the outdoors, the Pittsburgh Steelers and most of all the Bobcats!

Todd is survived by his wife, Angela and their three children Tyler, Matthew and Vina; his father and his mother, Mac and Boo Cooper; his brother, Chris, and sister-in-law, Laura and their two children, Ryan and Lia; and Grandma Elaine Power; as well as an uncle, aunt and cousins.

A memorial service was held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the Church of Christ located at 14 48th Street West, in Billings.

Those attending the service were asked to honor Todd’s memory for the love of sports by wearing your favorite team clothing.
