Mission Valley Has Talent Competition auditions open
Auditions for the Mission Valley Has Talent competition are now open to the public with a purchase of a ticket for the finals to be held on March 9.
Auditions are scheduled for 6 p.m., Thursday, March 1 and 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at the Polson High School Auditorium, 1712 Second St West.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students, and are available at local churches or by contacting Tillie, 249-0837, or at her office at 201 First Street West, Polson; Jason at 883-2447, or at the door the night of the event.
The audition audience can vote for their favorite top competitors. Thirty-six acts will vie for the chance to become one of the 12 finalists for the 7 p.m., Friday, March 9 event at the PHS auditorium.
Mission Valley Has Talent is a fundraiser for the Helping Hands Fund, a non-profit ministry of the Mission Valley Ministerial Association. Since 2004, Helping Hands Fund has provided emergency assistance to county residents, as well as to those traveling through who find themselves in need.
Volunteers are needed to work during auditions; a Thursday, March 8, rehearsal; and the final competition.
