The 2018-19 rendition of the Lady Vikings embark upon their new season with a lot of continuity at their disposal.

The Lady Vikings return their leading scorer in all-state senior Kaitlin Cox along with a seasoned entourage that includes seasoned seniors Allie Delaney and Teaira Truman. A trio of juniors include Bella Hawk, Destiny Manuel and Kira McPhail, supplemented by some savvy sophomores in Liev Smith and Carlee Fryberger.

Charlo plays Clark Fork on Friday and Drummon on Saturday in the Western C Tip Off Tourney in Frenchtown.

Two Eagle girls basketball has been in a bit of a lull the past couple of season, but this year could be the one where things start to turn around. Coach Laura Tenas returns at the helm and her most significant graduation was Lexi Parizeau.

The most seasoned Lady Eagles returnees include TaRae Goodluck and Patience AfterBuffalo-Adams. Both put in some preseason work running cross-country, which lends to conditioning when others are left huffing and puffing. If Two Eagle can harnass some consistency in scoring, they could see a multiplication in the number of games they compete in this season.

Two Eagle River begins the season at the Western C Tip Off Tournament in Frenchtown, facing Granite on Friday, and Lincoln on Saturday.
