Butte Central defeats

Polson 3-0

At Butte, the visiting Lady Pirates engaged in a spikefest with the Lady Maroons during their Homecoming match that teetered in the balance. The first two sets extended into extras with the home team eeking out the victories. The finale was also close, with the Lady Maroons wiggling off the hook with the win. The Lady Pirates more than doubled their kill ratio from the previous loss to Libby.

Libby 3, Polson 0

At Polson Middle School last Thursday, the Lady Pirates were tasked with toppling a top tier team teeming with talented talls. But as the contest progressed, the level of play exhibited by their visiting undefeated opponent would lead to lament that they lacked the leverage to lash a licking upon the lanky, league leading Libby Lady Logger lassies.
