Polson Fly-in features multitude of pilots, spectators

Bob Colby and Judy Rentner of Bigfork flew to Polson for Saturday’s event, coming in with Bob’s 1946 Globe Swift. Bob traded in a 1928 Curttis about two years ago for a “newer” plane.
Excellent food was served during the pancake breakfast Saturday morning at the Polson Airport.
Chuck Jarecki of Polson has a story to tell about his air miles. He’s shown with a North America map on which is drawn the routes he’s flown in the 1976 Cessna 180 behind it. Taitum Folck, a 4-year-old from Polson found a plane just the right size. It was a Super Petrel LS.
