Thanks for support of MV Food Pantry

On behalf of the Mission Valley Food Pantry, I would like to thank all the people who gave their time and effort to make the fundraiser for the Pantry, in the St. Ignatius Park on Saturday, Sept. 8 such a success. So many people gave their time. A special thank you to Louise Mitchell, Whitney Danz, Rhea Pierre and Roberta Asencio for organizing the fundraiser.

We appreciate and thank all the people who came and donated food and cash that will go toward helping feed the people in our community who are in need. The fundraiser brought in 300 pounds of food and $165 in donations. The cash will also go toward the $2,000 matching fundraiser with Town Pump.
