Polson Rotary Festival for Youth underway

The Polson Rotary Club is now accepting applications for its annual fundraiser.

Polson Rotary Festival for Youth event is a yearly endeavor to raise money to benefit the youth in the Mission Valley.

In the past eight years, the Polson Rotary Club has distributed some $315,000 to various programs for the benefit of Mission Valley youth.

Examples of Rotary signature projects:

° Improvements to the baseball fields

° Building a climbing wall

° Improvements to Riverside Park

° Improvements to the Mariners baseball field

° Purchasing a van for Boys & Girls Club

° Mission Valley Aquatics

° Polson Softball Association

° Polson Youth Soccer fields

* Charlo Community Outdoor Project

° 7th Ave. Skate Park

Applications can be found on the Polson Rotary Club website or by contacting Bret Richardson at 406-885-2738 or email kbrichardson@fcgmt.com, or by contacting any Polson Rotary Club member. The application deadline is April 30.

The culmination of this signature event will be the Polson Rotary annual Chili Cook-Off Aug 10 at Riverside Park. Chili team applications will be available for those wishing to participate.
