Clean Up! Green Up! features Cherry Valley student efforts
It’s time for the annual Clean Up! Green Up! event in Polson, on tap Friday through Sunday, May 3-5. Cherry Valley students get an early start by picking up trash around their school. The community-wide event encourages everyone to volunteer in cleaning up local streets and highways.
Headquarters at the North Lake County Library Atrium Room are open Friday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers can pick up gloves, trash bags, orange vests and assignment areas for clean-up. The Envision Polson! Beautification Committee will be staffing the office and serving refreshments.
Republic Service is providing a big dumpster across the street from the library for trash pick-up disposal from the streets and roads clean-up. Please — no household garbage!

- On May 6 the City of Polson is providing curbside free pick up of leaves and branches, starting at 8 a.m. Use biodegradable leaf sacks only and please no garbage!
