MOSS RANCH FIRE INFORMATION

The Moss Ranch Fire has transitioned to a Type 4 incident. The incident is also

downsizing the resources assigned to the blaze.

Activity yesterday- Minimal fire behavior was observed.

Today- Firefighters will continue to patrol the fire

Road closures- The Nenamay, FB 4100, & 1000 roads will be open Friday, August

2 nd at 0600 hrs. The Little Bitteroot Road on the NW perimeter of the fire will

remain closed until further notice.

Today’s weather- Hot and dry weather pattern with above normal temperatures,

will continue through the weekend, into early next week. Today- Sunny Temp-

90-95 RH- 13-23% Wind 5-7 west.

The fire is 5,310 acres and 100% contained.

Please stay out of the area and adhere to all road closures.
