There will be an annul Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 22 at 10:30 a.m. We will have ice cream from the Cove and will do our prize drawing. All are welcome.
During the last week of the Summer Reading Program (August 19-24) the library will offer “Food for Fines”. Each item of food you donate will remove $1.50 in library fines from your account. Food donations cannot be used on lost or damaged items. Don’t have any fines but would still like to contribute? Please drop off food anytime during that week. All food will be donated to the Loaves and Fish Food Pantry.
On Friday, August 23rd we begin a new program series called “Flipster Fun.” Join Angela to make a brown sugar and lemon facial scrub with a recipe from the summer 2019 Willow & Sage magazine accessible for free with your library card on the Flipster website. All supplies will be provided, so please let us know you are coming by calling or responding on our Facebook event. With Flipster we are able to provide many of your favorite magazines to you online for free with your library card. It even includes back issues. Check it out by clicking on the link on our website.
