Outdoor burning closed

The Flathead Indian Reservation Division of Fire Prevention announced that debris burning closed Nov. 30. Open debris burning will open back up March 1, 2020. Elks Lodge monthly dance

The Elks Lodge in Polson hosts their monthly dance on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 7 to 10 p.m. Ken’s Country Combo will provide a variety of music.

Mission Valley Ranch Bazaar

Mission Valley Ranch Hands 4-H Club will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Community Center. There will be many vendors, local products, 4-H concessions and more.

Holiday Extravaganza

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Polson Red Lion, the non-profit show promotes the gifts made by local artisans and professional bakers. The show also supports and promotes the Search and Rescue gift wrapping fundraiser.

Christmas musical

Two churches in the Polson community, St. Andrew’s Episcopal and Good Shepherd Lutheran, have joined their choirs to present A CHILD, A KING, Celebrating the Son of the Father’s love, at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located at 409 4th Avenue East.

Gift-wrapping fundraiser

Lake County Search and Rescue will hold a gift-wrapping fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Polson Red Lion. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Irrigation project meeting

The Flathead Indian Irrigation Project will hold their annual informational meeting on Wednesday, December 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Polson Red Lion. All are welcome to attend.

Big Arm concert Dec. 13

The Big Arm Association is sponsoring a Christmas concert, featuring the Polson High School Choral Group. Doors at the Big Arm Schoolhouse open at 5 p.m on Friday, Dec. 13 for finger foods and dessert, concert begins at 5:30 p.m. Bring food or a dessert to share, and if possible, an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.
