Between the Polson-Ronan varsity basketball games Friday, Jan. 25 at the Ronan Event Center, there was a Stand Up to Cancer recognition. Included was a short reading of information from the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society for Coaches vs. Cancer.
Players on the Ronan and Polson basketball teams joined the Stand Up to Cancer event with a presentation of signs with names of family members, friends and acquaintances who have been affected by cancer.
The Stand Up to Cancer event was organized by Ronan boys’ coach Mitchell Wassum.
