WET, HEAVY snow is common in March, and about half-a-foot fell overnight from Wednesday into Thursday in Lake County. You can tell there is a car under the new snowfall with only a side view mirror exposed. With the warmer temperatures, melting snow has turned to ice and is creating a problem for some drivers getting out of their parking spots in Polson. The forecast is for dry weather until next Tuesday (March 12) with highs in the low- to mid-30s. Get out your irrigation boots! (Joe Sova/Lake County Leader)
