MATH CARNIVAL Night at Linderman Elementary School was a “passport” for fun for kids and parents. Above, third grader Jasmyn Allred and sister Isabella, a fourth grader, register with hopes of winning a gift basket. PE teacher Micki Stanley is in the background.

Math Carnival Night was featured last Thursday at Linderman Elementary School, giving students an opportuntiy to have some fun in a learning environment.

Students and parents visited 11 stations — ranging from Cocoa Computation, Mad for Math!, Exploration Stations and My Voice Survey to Dancin’ Dice, Addition Bingo and Spectacular Sierpinski Pyramid.

“We have a very strong parent partnership team at Linderman,” principal Kristin Wilson said. “We’re purposeful in creating activities and inviting events.”
