Theda 'Theann' Parizeau
Theda Ann “Theann” Parizeau, 65, of Ronan, Mont., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, surrounded by her family at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan.
Theann was a long time resident of Ronan for 11 years. She previously resided in St. Ignatius, Anaconda, and Butte, Montana. Theann was a sweet soul, who touched the lives of her family and friends. Theann found joy and humor in many things, and had an unforgettable laugh, which is what most will remember about her. Theann was born on January 15, 1954, to Parley Albert Kent and Theda Mame Kent (McBride) in St. Ignatius, Montana. She was Parley and Theda’s sixth child, joining siblings Eugene, Rose Marie, Leroy Talbot, Samuel (Sam) Clarence, and James (Jim) Albert. Almost two years later, sister Mary Margaret joined the family.
Theann went to elementary school at St. Ignatius Elementary School and St. Ignatius High School. Theann was blessed with a baby boy, Brian Lee, born May 25, 1976 and a baby girl, Martha Genevieve, born December 10, 1978. On July 15, 1983, Theann married Fredrick Parizeau, and was blessed with baby girls, Delma Rose, born September 20, 1983, and Janie Marie, born September 6, 1984.
Theann loved the movies Star Trek and was a bit of a fanatic. She enjoyed a variety of other classic movies, reading romance novels, and doing word search puzzles while having her morning coffee. She was extremely fond of the Mission Valley Senior Center, having lunch with her friends, playing games, and volunteering at the Center. She was a regular attendee of Ronan Christian Church and loved her pastor, Jim Barnes. Theann’s favorite people were her grand-babies and she anxiously looked forward to their visits. Her son in law, Matthew, was the one person who could make her laugh the most. Theann enjoyed frequent visits to Missoula to see her nieces Patti and Alison. She adored her sister in law, Marlene, who works at the hospital, was often by her side as her nurse when Theann stayed in the hospital. Theann was proud of her girls. She affectionately referred to them as her “little coo-coos,” when they were small and they still remain a bit “coo-coo” to this day. Theann will be missed.
Theann was preceded in death by her parents, Parley Albert Kent and Theda Mame Kent (McBride), brothers Eugene Kent and Leroy Talbot, sisters Rose Marie and Mary Margaret, and spouse Fredrick Parizeau. She is survived by her daughters, Martha Genevieve Mitchell, Delma Rose Conover (Matthew), and Janie Marie Kent, son Brian Lee Lepine (adopted), brothers Jim Kent (Marlene) and Sam (Kathy) Kent, her grand-babies, Lily Rae, Peyton Xavier, Brookelyn Saige, Makaila Alexandra, Colten Matthew, and Kimber Rose, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Theann’s family extends an invitation to celebrate her life on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at Ronan Christian Church in Ronan, MT. A potluck reception will follow the service at Mission Valley Senior Center. Memorials and/or donations may be made to Ronan Christian Church or Mission Valley Senior Center.
