Cynthia Buchi

Our “Angel Queen” Cynthia Buchi, climbed her stairway to Heaven at McKay-Dee Hospital on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, due to complications incident to her fight with ovarian cancer.

She was born Jan. 30, 1956, in Helena, Mont., to Robert and Sharon Strainer.

On Aug. 17, 1974, Cindy married her high school sweetie, Paul Gordon Buchi, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the best mom my children could ask for and “Grandma Extraordinaire.”

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Paul, Tremonton, UT; daughter, Liesl (Corey) Richins, Clinton, UT; sons, Andrew (Sidra) Roy, UT; Spencer (Bethany), Mtn. Home, ID; five grandchildren, Jesse (Dani) Zion, Gabriel, Zada, Zachary; and a great-granddaughter, Callie Jo, expected in July; parents Robert and Sharon, Helena, MT; sister, Rhonda (Bruce) Robertson; brother Tony (Edwina) Strainer, all of Helena, MT.

A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held for family and friends in Ogden, UT (details at mortuary link).
