Mission excels at Divisionals
Mission High School jumper Flint McPherson finished fifth with a distance in the long jump of 19-04.
McPherson finished third in the triple jump with distances totaling 38-11.50, setting a personal record.
Bulldogs’ Charlie Adams finished in ninth place with a total of 35-09.25.
Brander dominates jumping events
Mission’s jumper Sydney Brander set a personal record and also captured first place in the triple jump, recording a jump of 34-09.00. Brander’s sister, Afton Brander, finished in third with a leap of 33-08.00.
Hunter Eichert also finished cleared a distance with an eighth-place finish of 29-05.00.
The Brander sisters continued their success in the long jump.
Afton Brander finished second with a cumulative distance of 15-08.25, and Sydney finished eighth with a length of 14-01.75.
Afton also finished third in the high jump clearing a height of 4-08.00.

Mission competitor Hunter Eichert finished second with a distance of 95-04.
Addison Arlint finished eighth in javelin recording a distance of 75-11.
Arlint, Adams finish in top-10 in discus
Mission’s Addison Arlint finished fifth in the discus with a distance of 91-03.50. Her teammate, Tristen Adams, also finished ninth with a range of 79-07.50.
Arlint and Adams placed in the top-10 in shot put. Arlint recorded a sixth place distance of 31-00.75, and Adams finished ninth with a length of 28-11.
Lady Bulldogs distance shines
The 4X100 relay team consisting of Afton Brander, Hunter Eichert, Karolyna Buck and Sydney Brander finished third recording a time of 53.76.
The 4X400 relay team consisting of Brander, Eichert, Sydney Brander and Karolyna Buck placed fifth recording a time of 4:39.83.
Buck dominates distance events
Mission runner Karolyna Buck set a new personal record in the 800 finishing third with a time of 2:31.20.
In the 1,600 Buck finished with a time of 6:01.28, and in the 3,200 she placed fourth with a time of 13:21.64.
Sydney Brander finished fourth in the 100, recording a time of 13.76.
