POP STANDS for Power of Produce, and that was the emphasis during the first Ronan Farmers Market of the 2019 season last Thursday, May 16. The market period of 4 to 7 p.m. gave youngsters an opportunity to win “tokens” they could use at vendors at the market on the grass behind the Ronan Visitors Center. According to market organizer Brianna Ewert, the Lake County Community Development Corporation received a federal grant to make the POP program possible.
