FRANCIS STANGER, 91, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, took part in the American Legion Memorial Day parades in Ronan and Polson on Monday. He is the last member of the Salish, Kootenai and Pend Oreille Tribes who is a World War II survivor.
