Polson volleyball competes at tournament

At Missoula, the Lady Pirates participated in the annual Missoula County Public Schools Invitational held jointly at Hellgate and Sentinel. The tournament features most of the Western AA and A teams with 6B Florence among others rounding out the roster of teams.

The Lady Pirates fared decently in their pool play action the first day against some stiff competition posed by contending against AA level athletic talents. After seeding 7th in their Hellgate pool, Polson competed in the consolation bracket, where they were swept by Whitefish, then Libby to finish 3-15 overall.

Polson will have already played Columbia Falls on Tuesday, then close out the regular schedule against Whitefish on Thursday, October 24, for Senior Night.
