A Pablo man was arrested and booked into the Lake County jail Friday night following a report of a shooting in Pablo.

Lake County 911 received a report just after 8 p.m. of two gunshot victims being taken to a local emergency room by private vehicle, according to a Lake County Sheriff’s Office press release issued Saturday.

The 911 report indicated one male and one female had been shot at a residence on Whispering Pines Drive in Pablo. Deputies and Flathead Tribal Police officers responded, along with Montana Highway Patrol troopers.

Joshua McGreevey, 32, fled the scene on foot but was later arrested at a nearby residence. He was booked into the jail on two counts of attempted deliberate homicide.

The two people who were shot are expected to survive.

Lake County sheriff’s detectives are leading the investigation.
