Polson police investigating package thefts

Polson police are investigating reports of package thefts they received last week.
Witnesses say a black jeep was following a UPS truck around the southeast side of Polson, and the person or persons in the Jeep were removing packages left on doorsteps by the delivery person.
Police are seeking the public’s help in the case. Anyone who may be missing packages that were delivered on Dec. 10, or who may have information regarding the vehicle, is urged to call the department at 406-883-7301. Detectives also are interested in any relevant security footage.
