Community notes: Seeley named to UVM dean's list

Gwen Seeley, class of 2024, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2020 semester at the University of Vermont at Burlington Vt. Seeley, of Polson, is in the College of Education and Social Services. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Lunceford completes degree

Casey Lunceford of Ronan completed a master of science degree in agricultural education this fall at Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa. Graduates were recognized in a virtual ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dixon Senior Center meals available

Dixon Senior Center has opened its doors for eating in, while adhering to social distancing precautions. The center continues to accept takeout meal requests. Meals will be served at 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. They cost $4 per serving and will be delivered to Dixon residents upon request.

Upcoming meals include turkey tetrazzini, fruit/vegetable, rolls and dessert on Monday, or ham, cabbage and carrots, rolls and fruit dessert on Thursday, Dec. 31.
