Maidens prepare to host Hamilton in Western A Divisional opener
The Ronan Maidens will be at home as the Western A girls tournament kicks off Thursday.
The Maidens (11-8) smashed Polson 57-17 in the play-in game last week. Today, they face Hamilton at 6:30 p.m.
Against Polson, Ronan led 19-4 after the first quarter and 30-12 at halftime.
Jaylea Lunceford led the Maidens with 11 points while Analeta YellowBird scored 10. Kieauna DeRoche and Jaeleigh Gatch each scored seven points.
Mossy Kauley led the Lady Pirates with eight points.
On Senior Night, the Maidens fell to Columbia Falls, 59-41.
Regan Clairmont led Ronan with 13 points while Kieauna DeRoche scored 10.
