Lady Vikings win two in conference; Two Eagle falls to Victor
This past weekend, the Lady Vikings of Charlo picked up a pair of conference wins with a combination of suffocating defense and quality shooting.
At Pablo against Two Eagle, the Lady Vikings put a pair in double figures with another pair knocking at the door of likewise.
The following evening at home against the visiting Lady Red Devils of Noxon, a strong first half shaped the outcome firmly in Charlo’s favor as a trio of players dabbled among double digits with Liev Smith taking game high scoring honors with a dozen and a half.
Charlo hosts Seeley Swan this weekend on Friday, then travels to Arlee on Saturday.

The Frenchtown trio of Faith, Hope and Charity Rebich combined for 19 points, eight rebounds, a half dozen assists along with seven steals, while Claire Bagnell purloined as many pilfers as Polson could procure points.
Multiple Lady Pirate players circulated between the bench and the court with an assortment of injuries that hampered efforts to establish any rhythm. There were flickers of formidability denoted by the quartet of assist when passes were made into the paint where four deuces would find their mark.
Polson travels to Ronan for the varsity doubleheader Friday, followed by a trip to Columbia Falls on Saturday. Frosh and JV girls play in Ronan on Thursday.

Down in the Bitterroot at Victor last Thursday, the visiting Lady Eagles scored a season high tally among the twenties that included freshman Sarah Gardipe delving into double digits for the second time this season.
The following evening on Friday, the suffocating defense of the visiting Lady Vikings of Charlo kept the Lady Eagles off the scoreboard until the second half.
