Charlo topples Trotters, Tigers
This past week, Charlo prevailed in a pair of challenging road contests “to a T” as the tenacious Lady Vikings furthered their unblemished record by a pair of conference wins.
At Plains, the host Trotters overtook Charlo during the odd quarters, but the Lady Vikings battened down the seams in their defense to swing the momentum back in their favor during the even frames. Charlo defense restricted the movement of senior 6-2 post Kylee Altmiller by limiting her possessions while holding her to a half dozen.
At St. Regis, Liev Smith and Carlee Fryberger combined more than offset the team tally of the Lady Tigers while the remainder of the roster supplied the insurance.
Charlo hosts Arlee this Friday in a cross county clash, then travels to Noxon on Saturday.
